Thursday was a good day for the Patriots, but the overturning of Brady's suspension did not deal with the issues of sportsmanship and what Brady knew.

  1. Reeva Steenkamp's (Pistorious' girlfriend) parents said they know that he killed her, according to Huffington Post. They said they witnessed some sort of hostile behavior before, but didn't think anything about it. Because of this, they have declined his release to house arrest and he will remain in jail. The court said that they never really thought about releasing him early, and that it all was misunderstood by the media.

  2. Indy race car driver, Justin Wilson, was in a coma after crashing in Pocono. He was in critical condition after sustaining a head injury when he ran into a large piece of debris that fell off another car. Wilson's car turned left into an interior wall and immediately was surrounded by the safety crew and taken away in a helicopter. He was pronounced dead on August 24th.

  4. A huge asset to the Green Bay Packers, Jordy Nelson, tore his ACL on the opening drive in a pre-season game this past Sunday. With a torn ACL, Jordy Nelson will miss the remainder of the 2015/2016 football season. Nelson was the top receiver for the Packers in 2014, this will leave a huge gap to fill on the Packers offense this season.

  9. 2014 Milliner Out Offseason

Milliner hurt a tendon in his right wrist on Aug. 6 when he tried to jam a wide receiver in practice. It came a week after he returned from an Achilles tendon injury that caused him to miss most of the 2014 season and the ensuing offseason.

  11. A current event happening now is affecting Louisville Cardinal basketball. I think the allegations are that someone on the staff at Louisville bought "entertainment" for the players, outside of the NCAA rules. None of it has been proven yet, but more and more details are coming out everyday. This should be interesting as to what happens if the allegations are proven, if their 2013 championship is revoked or what.
